I'm a biologist turned wannabe journalist. I have a BSc in Biology and Environmental Science and now I want to aim my sights toward a career in writing. While I would love (and intend to) get into the science writing niche, I also want to expand my horizons and write about other things I love as well, including travel, adventure sports, fitness, outdoor recreation and camping. I am looking forward to entering a journalism graduate program next fall to be able to put "master's degree" on my resume! Oh, and that's a picture of me in a faceoff with a baby burrowing owl in one of my field biology jobs.
